Happy Halloween!

Wednesday, October 31, 2018

Went to Ortho today and got another shot in my knee. It was rather abrupt and unexpected, the way the doc did it. One second he was spraying my knee with the numbing spray, the next he had the long needle out and was putting it in my knee! Like I blinked and it was there. It doesn't hurt, it's just very uncomfortable and a LOT of pressure. But anything to make my knee stop hurting so bad. This cold weather is bad for my arthritis.

Weighed at the doc's office, I gained a few pounds back! I need to go check on my scale and make sure it isn't just a scale difference. But if it isn't, then that just shows that I really can't have anything even closely resembling bread or tortillas. Or noodles. Though I am going to try making that Korean noodle dish I've been talking about, no matter what! I know what did it if I did have weight gain. DH got me burritos from Taco Bell. I ate 2 of them (1/2 at a time, so 4 meals! in one day!). All those carbs gotta go somewhere. Now that I know that I'm THAT carb sensitive, I just have to say goodbye permanently, except for fruits and veggies that have carbs. I don't like doing that, some things need a cracker or toast or noodles to go with it. But, my health is more important than my taste buds. Maybe I can make it a once in a great while thing, so I don't end up feeling deprived.

Well, emoticon Happy Halloween!

I had the needles in my knee (Euflexxa - it was called) - there were 3 needles. 2 of them hurt - a LOT. I was limping for the day. The worst part is that I didn't notice any improvement in the knee. I hope that it is working well for you! Have a great day - Heather

I had some ligament damage in my knee. Some chiro adjustments have helped the pain and mobility. Stay with what works. Happy Halloween.
