Week 1

write a letter to yourself about why you deserve to lose weight over the holidays and what you plan to do to accomplish this.

Okay Melanie all of this really goes without saying. I deserve to lose weight because I'm tired of feeling like crap. My anxiety has worsened with each gain and it's time to take back control and have a better life, to be a good example to my kids - from being a healthy eater and for making a decision and sticking to it. I deserve to lose weight because I want to be happy and feel good about the way I look in the mirror, because I want to shop at any clothing store I want to and not worry about what their clothing size range is. I deserve to lose weight because being tired because I'm carrying an extra hundred pounds on my short 5 foot 1 frame sucks and it is leading to a crappy sedentary life for my kids and me. I deserve to lose weight because I deserve to be happy with my body and with my self, I deserve to be healthy, I deserve to get out and reclaim my life and stop watching things pass me by.

To accomplish my weight loss during this dreaded holiday season I will stay the course, I will continue with the (lazy) Keto diet, I will allow myself to have a super yummy Thanksgiving dinner without overflowing my plate and say no to desserts afterwards. The sweets are my super weakness and it's so much harder to get back on track if I allow myself to have them, so I'll just say No thank you.
