Last month I tried the Arbonne 30 Day Challenge. Omitting sugar, gluten, dairy, caffeine, alcohol, pork, and corn seemed like a nightmare at first. But I've learned So Many interesting recipes in the past month.
My biggest problem is meal planning. My guy and I tend to eat out A Lot because I don't like to meal plan or cook. He's always impressed when I do cook, but I'm very self-conscious about how food will turn out. I'll have to work on Confidence as an #NSV.
As a step in the right direction, today I made a batch of farro, mixed with avocado, fresh spinach and garlic powder. It will be a base for my work lunches. Tomorrow's lunch adds leftover shrimp stir-fry and celery sticks.
Every morning I still have my Arbonne protein shake, sometimes with a green apple or berries. And I've switched from pop and coffee to Arbonne Fizz and Ice Mountain Sparkling unsweetened flavored seltzer water. 0-15 calories, all the tingles without the sugar highs.
I guess I'm living the 80/20 life, because Sometimes I've Gotta Have Cheese... Even though it makes me phlegmy.
So, here's to a new beginning!
