My exercise awesomeness

My trainer evaluated my progress Thursday. I discussed my need to find more exercises that are gentle on my joints and told her I'm satisfied with biking as my aerobic workout. I had to give up my water running! I think my "freedom of movement" as well as the relaxing effect of the really warm water caused me to be lax in noticing minute changes in form! Huh. After a few weeks I noticed my back and hip hurt less. Dang. I can still do my water exercises but also need to watch the currents created by others as I'm that greatly affected.
I managed to do a whole 2 full push-ups before i collapsed into a fit of giggles. I don't think I've done one since high school. She gave me some extremely simple leg lifts which when I perform them correctly kill the heck out of my abs and save my back. Who knew? Probably a lot of you! I can also now handle planks for only 10 seconds at a time but gee whiz, that's awesome for me.
Two days into these and my abs hurt and my back doesn't.
