2019 - The Year of ME

In March of 2017, I began a program called Ideal Protein. I was amazed at the quick results I saw! In 8 months, I lost 71 lbs. at the beginning, I felt really good. At around the 5 month mark, I started to add some exercise into my daily routine. Very quickly, I began to feel fatigued, hungry, and miserable. I still loved the weight loss (and compliments), but I wasn’t feeling great. Then my hair began falling out at an epic rate.
After 13 weeks of the scale not moving at all, I had enough. I had heard of others who did the program then gained all the weight back, but I swore I wouldn’t be one of them. Now here I am, 11 months after I stopped the program, and pretty much every pound I had lost is back.
Now I am here. Fad diets do not work. It really, truly is about eating healthy, whole foods and exercise. I turn 44 in just 22 days and my goal is to be at my personal goal weight by the time I’m 45. I can do this. My family (husband and 2 sons) have all committed to doing this with me.
My kids are older now and it’s time I do this for ME. 2019 will be MY year.
