What Is Working For Me

I started out with a 30# weight loss mini goal as the first step to an overall 160# goal. When I first started I was eating about 1900 calories and doing a half hour of exercise 5 days a week. I could barely walk a 1/2 a mile in that time. As plateaus hit I have decreased calories and added 2 more days of working out.

I am currently eating 1550 to 1600 calories a day and walking/running for a half hour. I try to push my pace each day so I walk/run longer in the half hour.

I eat veggies with all of my meals. I have carbs but try to limit them to whatever spark recommends. I eat a lot of lean protein. I think my success so far is logging EVERYTHING. If I don't, I lose track of what I ate and the calories can really add up. I don't drink pop and only eat at fast food places if I can't avoid it. I am currently working on my third mini goal of 30#. I have 10# to go until my next mini goal.
