After a long time of feeling sluggish and generally unhealthy, I took a step back and viewed my life from the outside and saw that my bad eating habits and lack of energy is showing my son that health doesn't matter. This is unacceptable to me, although he is not overweight at this point I can see it happening right in front of me. There come a time in life that you have to make changes not only for yourself but for the ones you love too. So after talking to my wife and with her amazing support I have decided to start a new and healthier chapter of my life and it starts here with a cleaner eating habit and exercise that we are all doing together. The issue I am seeing is that eating healthier is not the hard part it is meeting the minimum calorie requirement with the better foods. I just have to stick with it and move forward with the help and love from my family. 215 lbs HERE I COME!!!!

    Welcome to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. You have to make you #1 and tell yourself that you are worth it. And remember you didn't gain the weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight. It takes time, determination, motivation and support. You can get it all right here!
