I’ve been working at losing weight for quite some time and have five years of daily weight recorded. Work out regularly and make my goal of 20,000 steps per day frequently. BMI has not been in the green zone during that time and weight loss is never significant in duration. At the recommendation of my wife I started a Spark People account about a week ago logging ever speck of food and drink and have been tracking calories like never before. Results have been eye opening. I was eating way more calories than I imagined. The weight is coming down nicely. I’m sold on this process and am positive I will make my goal ahead of schedule. Can’t thank Spark People enough.
