January 16, 2019 Let's just call this day 1

I don't even know what to write. I am sitting at my desk at work, thinking about all the things that I love about food. The comfort, the taste and texture, the warmth or coolness. It is literally an obsession! An obsession I need to deal with, and get over, God willing!

Yesterday, I had coffee for breakfast. Tuesday is "Lunch with my Boss and Co-worker day." We eat lunch every Tuesday, and we have a rotation of restaurants we go to. Yesterday was Blackstone. I really enjoy eating there! We always have the same appetizers, and I pretty much order the same entree. It is a lot of calories and fat, yep, I know that when I order. Yep, I order it anyway. My husband and I, took our 2 youngest children out for dinner last night. J is a freshman in college, and R is a junior in high school. We try to go see J whenever we get the chance. Bad weather is supposed to roll in this weekend, so last night was the perfect night to go to dinner with J. Hu Hot! Yay!! I should mention that Hu Hot is on my list of favorite places because I absolutely love Chinese food. (Mexican also, but that it another blog) So at Hu Hot, with all the choices of protein and veggies, what do I do? I get my protein, a big glob of noodles and a few veggies. I HATE VEGGIES! HAHAHA
I ate too much, I felt terrible about it, I refused to track my intake yesterday. The only positive to my day was that I didn't drink any soda. And I got my hair done.

So today, Day 1... I have eaten pretty well, ate my fruit and veggie for lunch. I didn't eat breakfast, but I am trying to intermittently fast and see what that does for me during the week. I have my dinner planned, and I will be done eating by 8pm. Fasting 8 pm to Noon, or at least that is what I am attempting.

I am looking for a workout buddy in my area, so that I can get back into a gym, and have someone who can count on me as much as I will count on him/her. I also hope that I can find a buddy with a little knowledge, so that I can learn what I don't know about weights and so on.

    Breakfast is your most important meal of the day. A big boost of protein early in the day, helps restrict over eating and gives a boost of energy as well. You will find what works best for you, but you will learn this process is one decision at a time.

    I know you hear it all the time but you should have something for breakfast for energy. How about a fruit smoothie? It's like a healthy shake. Good luck!
