I opened my Spark account Sunday night. Since then, I have read some articles, participated in the premium coaching, and walked through some of the pages. The main idea that sticks out from all of this is small steps.
I know what my long term goal is and what nutrition and exercise changes I need to make, but the major overhaul is a little stressful. I learned that I don't need to make every change over night. This has helped tremendously. I went in thinking I would make all these drastic changes and so far (two days) I have not been able to stick with the foods I plan for the whole day.
I am not beating myself up over it though! I made a great improvement in my breakfast these past two days. I can even feel the energy! Each day I will try to make one more good choice beyond a healthy breakfast.
I have also successfully completed my wake up workout and walking my dog these past three days. I want to add more, but time management has not been working for me. But I'm not going to get discouraged. I'm excited that I will keep motivated to do the two things I started.
