Fresh Start

Wednesday, January 23, 2019

I just wanted to say that I know somedays it can be a challenge to stick to our plans or resolutions. After losing 10 pounds, I started slacking and caved into eating & drinking a few things I shouldn't have. Last night I came across this, which is true. There will be days that we may struggle or fail but that doesn't mean to give up p. Every day we get a fresh start lo live a better life for ourselves and our families! Never give up on your hopes, dreams and wants for yourself! Have an amazing day everyone!!

Welcome to Spark People. As a newbie, the best thing I can tell you is the more you put into your program, the more benefits you will reap. Do the basics: track all your food and exercises on the trackers, post and huddle with your team for support, build your spark page or update it from time to time so we can get to know you better, drink your water every day, ask questions -we are all here to help. Welcome again and I hope to see more of you on the site. It is a big site. so take your time and look around. Don't overwhelm yourself by joining too many teams- just enough to get guidance and support from and that you can keep active with- a team on which you are not active is no good to you or good for the team either. Good luck on your weight loss journey and becoming a more healthy and fit you.

I have a picture of myself before I started Sparkpeople on my refridgerator and it reminds me daily why I am doing this. I need reminders to keep myself on track. I also find weekly planning of my meals to be of great help.
