My weight loss journey

Friday, January 25, 2019

I started again on my weight loss journey for 2019. I am very determined by this time next year to be down 100 pounds. I started on 1/17/19 and today 1/25 I am down 7 pounds. I guess what really got me going wasis that I was sick for about two years and until they found what was wrong with me I lived in the bathroom and weight just came off me. I have celiac disease and ulcerative colitis. It took a year to diagnose my celiac and two for my colitis. Once they found what was wrong and I was treated I gained everything that I loss back. I got married 2 1/2 years ago and I am 20 pounds heavier than in 2016. I was also sick then. The other thing is my mom died early at 61. even though she had other factors playing against her than what I do, it still that was young and I am 51. My husband said to me I know what your doing but you’ll be ok you’ll live a long life because you are taking care of yourself. So this year my husband and I started eating better and for this Valentine’s Day we bought a Gazelle exercise machine, a recumbent bike and a ball with resistance bands plus the weights we had. My husband has to loose 20 pounds but unlike me that has to loose more he is very supportive and loves me no matter what. A lot to look forward to this year. My granddaughter will be 1 in July. My oldest daughter is getting married in November so I have to wear a gown. So let’s get rocking and I will keep this blog going everyday with my accomplishments maybe we can all help each other. 2/7/19 well today I am down 12 ponds all together so fart. I have been doing really good this time tracking my food, I love this because it holds me accountable. This time around mixing up my exercising seems to be helping. I figure as long as I am moving and not a couch potato then I am moving in the right direction. Happy journey everyone!
