So proud of myself

While today is only day 5 I decided Monday would be a good weigh in day. So I did my weigh in this morning. YES!!!! Two pounds down, I am so excited, especially after I totally blew the diet yesterday with a church potluck. Wait it gets better, I measured my waist, the only measurement I am tracking currently. What that can't be right. Back to the scales to double check, Yup it still says 168, remeasured my waist still says down 3 inches.

Feeling great I started out on my morning walk. Due to the weather the last two days I have done my workouts indoors rather than walking. Friday I walked .5 miles and it took me 15 minutes, this morning that same walk only took me 10 minutes. Guess I need to find a longer route to keep it at 15 minutes. That’s a good thing.

I knew I felt better, and the stretching was making it easier to move. I am sleeping better too. That didn't really surprise me, but to actually have lost weight and inches this quick, really surprised me. Add in that my endurance is getting better, gives me the motivation to stick with this.

I still having trouble with the eight glasses of water a day, but I'm working at it. I've found adding cucumber or lemon slices helps. I am thinking about everything I eat because I track it. I've done really good staying with in my calorie range (well except yesterday, which was better than I expected). Saturday I really didn't want to do my exercises, a dead battery and broken vacuum kind of bummed me out, plus it was raining. I did a shortened time but did exercise. Now I am so glad I did.

I am so excited to start this next week, can't wait for a new healthier happier me. If I can do it you can do it!
