Account for Body Type

Sunday, February 17, 2019

There are three well known body types. (image found on meyersmuscles.com)

According to some gym goers and physicians, we are ideally supposed to weigh in as ectomorphs and look like mesomorphs. I am definitely an endomorph. When fit, what a beautiful hourglass shape of an endomorph. What a proportionate and brawny physique of an endomorph man!

I'm married to a mesomorph. The struggle of being around many mesomorphs is that they don't understand why everyone isn't like them. Fortunately, that isn't always the case, and it's a blessing to be married to one who appreciates the beauty of a curved line.

Beauty is found in every single one of these types. In some, it's waiting to be revealed. We are to know ourselves in confidence.

I'm a horse person; a mini is not a draft is not a quarter horse is not an arabian. You are exactly the shape God designed you to be. The glimmer in His eye!

No cursing the endomorph, ectomorph, or mesomorph. There is tremendous beauty waiting to be revealed as you fill yourself with nutritious food, the good book, and whatever exercise works best for you.

Truly...the beauty is always there even if others don't always see it in us!

Akelly45, I always covered everything. Went through Summers in heavy jeans and tops that always covered myself with long shirts. I grew up in a time where boobs on a stick was the only appropriate figure. To heck with making ourselves look boxy. Embrace it.

I have an hourglass frame according to my measurements and I hide it must of the time it's not something I'm proud of. I just think it makes you look big up top and big on the bottom with a smaller waist that's all. I guess it's all in perspective.
