I'm important too

Tuesday, February 19, 2019

Too often I focus all of my time and energy on that is my special needs child. He gets all of my extra time and I push aside what I need. I have to start giving myself permission to do what I need to better myself physically and emotionally. I am so great at offerings other people advice and support to improve their lives. I deserve that same attention. So today, I take back my health. I am making better food choices, drinking my water and getting my butt up of my desk chair and moving more, even if it's just a walk down the hall. I will no longer allowed the crumby February Ohio weather decide does new that I cannot work out because I cannot walk outside. I don't need a workout DVD to get me moving. I have the exercise mats sudden, I'm going to make up my own routine, something I can do with a bad knee. Something that won't take up too much of my mornings (if I don't work out in the mornings it isn't happening) and that I can stick to. Today I am reminding myself that if I don't take care is new, there will be nothing left to take care of my child. I AM IMPORTANT TOO!!!
