I did my food shopping on Saturday after work. I don't usually do my own shopping because #1 I hate it lol #2 I seem to always end up throwing stuff in the cart I don't need So I got a lot of stuff- salad, veggies, granola cereal, boneless chicken, burgers , Mac and cheese velvetta. And then I got two boxes of mini muffins ( on sale 2 for $5) fruit roll ups, zingers. The past two days I've consumed all the muffins, the whole 12 oz bag of granola, one box of velvetta. Just literally eating everything in sight it seems since I'm off and I know I have food so I figure I'm off, I'm bored why not. Ugh why do I do this? I know it's not good for me, I know I'm not hungry yet I still eat it. And I feel so out of control right now. Anyone else struggle with this??

Avoid the aisles in the store that has those items. Remember, those items that you over indulge in stays with you a long time in the for of fat. Don't go to the store when you're hungry.

I use a shopping app to make a list at home, then go to the store, park in the pick up area. Yhe attendant brings out the groceries, loads them in the trunk. I go home, put them away. Not subjected to the lust of the eye. Lust vs. List! I win!

I think you realize that you are not eating healthy and it is affecting your health. This is just a couple of suggestions that has helped me: I try not to have sweets in the house. Plan your meals before you go shopping and make a list including enough healthy snacks in your kitchen to get your through the week. Drink water throughout the day and especially before a meal. It will be hard at first but when you realize you are not wanting the sugars, etc, it will really make you feel good about yourself. I know, it's a change in lifestyle but emoticon

    Good luck.

Yes I do. It’s an old eating pattern that shows itself every now and then.
