As I get more involved in my health journey I find myself doing more and more things to reach my goals. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Choosing to eat more healthy food and less carbs. Yesterday I even bought some protein powder to add to my homemade granola bars. Of course I'm not perfect I still eat out but when I do I make more informed choice and make sure my choice fits within my daily allowance. My biggest downfall is my love for Starbucks and other cafes with fancy drinks. I cannot stomach plain coffee so instead choose low fat milk or almond milk. This is a marathon. Not a sprint

    Thats right!! I go on a date with my husband once a month for a treat and pick out a sensible meal with one indulgence as either an appetizer or dessert. You gotta give a little in order to stay sane sometimes!! Lol
