Spring is coming.... and so is the Spring 5% Challenge
Monday, March 25, 2019
The past two weeks have been interesting here in Minnesota (and probably a lot of other places too). I thought I'd share some of my recent outside photos.
The first two are of the path's I had shoveled throughout our back yard so Daisy could have places to walk around and do her business, although apparently she likes walking on the paths and finding deep snow to take care of business. You can barely see her way in the back in the first photo.
And then it snowed another 6 - 8 inches. This is what it looked like before I tried to shovel it up again. You can see bits of her way in the back again in both of these.
So those were maybe two weeks ago and 10 days ago. This is what it looks like today. That's Daisy walking out to the sheds to see if she can find the bunnies. That brick is where we have the lead connected to chain up our visiting dogs - lucky for us we didn't have any dogs visiting because we haven't seen that brick for almost 2 months.
And last, here is Daisy coming back from her patrol of the yard, smelling everywhere to make sure no invaders were in her yard. Even Sheba decided to come outside with us tonight. In fact it was so nice outside at 42 degrees with no wind that it really did feel like Spring.
And speaking of Spring, our Spring 5% Challenge is going to be starting on April 6th. It's an 8 week challenge and a really fun way to connect with friends and other wonderful Spark members. I've been doing these challenges for a few years now, I was even participating 2 years ago when I had a total knee replacement. I'm absolutely certain that my involvement with the challenge helped me stay on track with all the exercise I was suppose to do to help my healing.
