So after a lengthy hiatus from SparkPeople, I am back. The step away was good for me, in that it allowed some of my frustration with lack of success to ease.
I start another 5% challenge this Saturday. With so many chronic health issues (cancer, diabetes, sleep apnea, obesity, anemia....) I definitely need to get a better handle.
So where to start?
1. Log in every single day, unless I do take my cruise on 4/27. If so, log in every day through 4/27 (I don't pay for internet on a cruise).
2. Improve my water consumption so I am back to 8 glasses a day by month's end.
3. Take my diabetes medications & blood sugar readings consistently. (Yes, not a very "SMART" goal but don't want to set myself up for failure)
4. Log all my food & supplement intake for the month of April (see note above about cruise).
I think that's a good start. I may add more as the month goes on.
