Intermittent Fasting helping with Bad Habits

I have decided my intermittent fasting is encouraging good habits.
I have it set up so my "eating window" happens while I am at work 5 days a week.
This means I am discouraged from mindless snacking in front of the computer. Or watching TV, or hand sewing. It also makes it so I can take me "allotted calories" to work and not be likely to go over.
I know snacking is my biggest bad habit. So hopefully sticking with the fasting will finally break me of it.
