I reached my goal - now comes the hard part ... MAINTENANCE

This morning, I reached my weight goal for 2019 ... minus 37 lbs. Now comes the hard part, stepping into maintenance. My plan is to add 100 calories and hold that for a week, then add another 100 and hold that for a week. So tomorrow I will go from 1100 to 1200. Next week I will try 1300 daily. If I start to gain, I will cut back until I find out what my body needs, not what the charts say. Each of us is different. My journey of 1000 to 1100 a day has NOT been hard or painful because I save 240 calories every night for ice cream. It's a great motivator and reward for me. My wife is doing well with the same method but a different calorie level. Each body and each metabolism is different and we have to adapt to the body that God gave us.
