"Becoming consistent means giving yourself the power to choose." - D. Anderson
He was speaking of the power of building good habits. This quote hit me because so often it feels like I don't have a choice. I feel like I'm so exhausted and weary that all I can do is take the easiest path which is always the least healthy, both physically and emotionally. I have a concrete goal in mind now, with a definite end date, and this quote gives me hope that if I can get into some good habits they will become the new "default". Then when I'm feeling weary I'll have the choice to either "default" into something healthy or choose to go out of my way to do something not as healthy (snacking, watching hours of tv, etc).
