Did not track my food today. Today was a bit more relaxed day, I guess it's ok once in a while. Yesterday, late at night I baked a cake, in an attempt of using up some baking ingredients which have recently (and some not so recently) gone old. The cake was ok but quite dry (first time trying this recipe). Surprisingly little margarine, but a bit heavy on the sugar. Anyway, I have been eating that cake today. I would have frozen half but it was so dry I didn't feel it's worthy. I do like baking every now and then, it's also self care - relaxing fun and functional. I don't mind the cake but then I also bough a pastry at work. First time in months I did that. So not heatlhy day today. All the other food was healthy though, pan fried polenta and mung bean/tomato sauce, red cabbage and orange as a salad.

I need to figure out how to count calories if I am cooking myself again. I remember I once knew how but I have forgotten. I never (almost) cook from recipes, so it's unpleasant thought to measure everything. I enjoy free style cooking. Well maybe that's not a problem, really. I just keep the ingredients healthy and watch my portion sizes. I have no intentions of tracking my macros and calories on a long term.
