Day 146 - energy left at the end of the week

Friday, May 17, 2019

Recently I notice that although I am somewhat mentally exhausted, I have significantly more energy left at the end of the week these days. At my highest weight, and pretty much all of 2017 and 2018, I would be wiped out by Friday, and spend the weekend in a somewhat vegetative state, with absolutely no energy, just binge watching TV, waiting for the next meal.

Although I still have much room for improvement to fill the weekend with activities for, and with, the family, I have enough energy left on a Friday to make plans and get excited about the weekend.

Confession, this weekend (and next) will be much about catching up on work and preparing for the conference in 2 weeks, but there will still be some activity and getting out of the house happening. There is always something to be discovered. I am committed to not spend the weekend on the sofa, but use the time productively.

Had a great week, ate well and according to what was planned. met my water goal daily, brown-bagged every day. All good this week and the weekend will be no exception.

Expect my average weight for the week to be down by about 2.5lbs this week. Absolutely focused, and on track and trajectory to make my goal in another 454 days. all I have to do is lose 2lbs per week (1.97lbs actually).

I have been doing exceptionally well and been able to stay on course for 146 days - I must be able to do it another 454 more days - there should be no excuse. And by that time, I will have established the habits to enable me to maintain my weight loss......finally!

Day 146 - 71.8lbs down - only 128.2lbs or 454 days to go to 225

I WILL succeed, because I choose to, because I CARE!

C - COMMIT + Plan every day - I choose to see every day as a new opportunity!
A - ACT on my plans consistently - I choose to take the initiative, I own this!
R - RECORD + REVIEW daily - what worked, what didn’t - Celebrate every victory, learn from any challenge!
E - EMBRACE the journey - I choose to own every decision and every choice and will not be derailed by one challenge, by one bad choice!
