This started when I was chatting with a SparkFriend.. and then it GREW & GREW

Spring has really sprung in my corner of the world.
In my yard the daffodils have been gracing me with tons of yellow and some white blossoms, the bleeding heart adds a dash of red, the purple and white violets sprinkle their blossom all across my lawn, the PM rhododendron has shared its blooms and is in the process of shedding them all about the area, & the lilacs are beginning to show their varying shades of purple colors. and all of these colors have a gorgeous shade of green grass for a background. I love my corner of the world in springtime for all the color.. and, the rest of the year.. for what each season shares....

this is about where I decided this needed to be a blog rather than a comment..
So that is what I did...

Every Spring I think I should plant at least one forsythia bush for its yellow blossoms.. but where would I put it that all the rest of the year I would not regret its placement. And then, I say I do not need another bush.. especially for yellow flowers as I have lots and lots of DAFFODILS and, I can always count on their blooms every spring.

I saw two,,, yes two Indigo Buntings at my feeders this morning.. I usually, well in past years, I only see one, and only for one day... I do hope these two will be around all summer... but if not, I wish them well . May they have a good breeding season and long healthy lives... and whatever it is that makes birds happy.
Oh, and I put out my hummingbird feeders a couple of days ago.. I have spotted at least two birds at the feeders simultaneously. I watched a YouTube video a few weeks ago by a lady in California .. she had lots of feeders.. and lots of hummingbirds. Watching the birds made me think of a host of honey bees swarming about their hives. I learned that flower nectar (and feeders) are only a small portion of the bird's diet.. that they also eat bugs and they will even take bugs from spider webs!! So maybe you do not want to disturb those webs outdoors... they may be feeding more than just spiders.

Well, I have babbled on way too long... but it is my blog so ... I guess I can make the rules.. or just not have any rules whatsoever..
I Pray all is well in your special corner of the world..
May your blessings bring you pleasure, good health, and happiness.
Wishing you well, and, peace in your heart and mind.
Always, Always,

Your garden sounds so beautiful! Your spring is definitely ahead of ours, but this week-end seems to have turned things around here, although I still have to bring in the hanging baskets each night and also the annuals as the night temperatures are still in the single digits. Hopefully by next week they can be planted in the ground.

Oh my humming birds. How interesting. We have many hummingbirds in our area. We need to put some feeders out.
