Today, I got paid $1,105.18 for the past 2 weeks' worth of work. I'm pleased to crack $1,100, and this means that I'll make $2,210.36 every month from now on (except for the 2 months out of the year where I get 3 paychecks instead of 2). I know that that's still not a lot for someone making $43,012 a year, but I'm happy. :) Now, I'll just have to wait until the end of October to (hopefully) get my next and 2nd promotion, and I'm also looking forward to November, so I can finally tweak my insurances. God is good!

I remember how hard it was financially after I graduated from college, and had no job. I remember crying after I found out that the peaches I bought from the grocery store were rotten in the inside. :'( I got on disability soon after that, and things got a little better, but it was still tight.

Now that I have more money, I've found that it's the little things in life that make a huge difference. For instance, I am able to buy brand name foaming hand soaps now. Also, I can buy more expensive dish soap. To me, it's little luxuries like that that make life so much better. :')

I get 3 paychecks next month, and I'm excited! Like I said, there are 2 months out of the year where I get an extra paycheck, and this year, it's June, and November. I was thinking about using the 1st paycheck to fund my vacation to Las Vegas this year. For the 2nd paycheck, I was thinking of using half to take my parents to Disney California Adventure Park later on this year, and using the other half for Christmas gifts this year.

I credit God for giving me this good job. I refuse to believe that somehow the best job in the world fell into my lap out of sheer luck. I truly believe that it was divine intervention. :)

Thank you for all the kind comments on my last blog saying I'm not poor. :') I've made it!

Have a great Saturday!
