Can you have too much fun...

Today's class was just too much fun. Of course I didn't read my instructions and cut my batting wrong so first thing was I got to be an example. I laughed at my self and made jokes about you can always count on me to do something off. I think by the end of the class I had made at least one of almost any mistake you could make doing this table runner and all 5 of us had also made several more of them. We were all laughing so hard one gal said next time she took a class she was going to make sure Jo was in it. And then I came home to empty. Ate my late lunch because class ran almost 4 hours.
This coming home to empty and alone seems to be the biggest problem but I call the way I acted in class with the laughing and stuff as "wearing my happy face". I don't seem to be able to do it alone.
My little table runner is all done except for a binding and I'll have to find some material to do that tomorrow.
1. having a great time with people all doing the same things and enjoying it. We all stitched down out templates at least once.
2. After sitting in class it felt really good to put my feet up for an hour
3. good days
Tomorrow I will deliver the quilt to baby Hazel along with the rocking chair. To me that feels like a big thing taken care of. My mother did not want to see that outside the family because it was her mother's childhood chair. At this point I'm going to let that go and know that I did the best I could with it. And then I'm going to come home from lunch with my cousin and his wife and make more flying geese. I will finish those things this week. I promise....
1. a class full of like people doing the same thing.
