Goals & Gratitude 5/18/19

Today was the Greek Fest at church. I was there most of the day, though I left early so I could come home and finish my homework for the night. I would have liked to have stayed and helped break everything down, but I knew I was going to need a good two hours to finish work today. I came home and finished and turned in my Financial Statement Analysis midterm and then I did more research for my research paper. I'm in the process of printing out 4 new articles that are better suited to my research paper right now.
Greek Fest was, I hope, a great success. The gyro line was predictably long, so I didn't get one, but I did have some french fries, which I haven't had in several months. They were feta fries, with feta cheese and oregano on top, and they were good. I showed restraint and didn't eat them all. Being on Spark People has paid off! I bought a piece of spanikopita (spinach and feta pie) for dinner, and I'll have that with a salad and a piece of fruit. I can't wait to hear how we did financially from the Greek Fest. It's our biggest fundraiser every year.
Tomorrow is church, and then I have two quizzes to do for Cost Accounting afterwards. In the evening I'm driving to my Dad's house, as I'm taking him to the doctor on Monday afternoon. We get the results of his bloodwork and I hope it's good news. I doubt it will be, though, because his condition hasn't changed in the last month.
1) Organize my research for my research paper.
2) Change the sheets.
1) Finish the Cost Accounting quizzes.
2) Get the house a little cleaned up before I got (take out the trash, sweep, finish the dishes and put away the laundry).
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) Greek Fest! It's always nice to see the community come out and have fun supporting us.
2) That my dinner is cooked.
3) That the weather stayed so nice today.
