Last year Feb 2018 - I decided to do something about the wt I gained from my change of jobs. when I wrked solely at the desk I was able to incorporate my Vegan Diet eating 1200 caliries daily. Wrkg part-time as a desk person & 5 1/2 hours doing janitorial wrk which totally wipes me out-I am burning sometimes over 2,000 calories. I went from 120 lbs for 3yrs stable to weighing in over 196 pounds. My clothes no longer fit. I was trying to stick to my 1200 calorie diet without success. I chose to try Dr Don Colbert’s Keto Zone Diet. After one yr as of yesterday I have lost 44 pounds. I do not drink coffee, I am allergic to the cow so no butter for me. I still have to read all of the labels on foods as I have Celiac Disease which is a wheat and grain allergy. My goal is still to aim for 120 pounds. I am down to 152 which puts me in the obese catergory. But I am positive this will not be for long. The rules are to aim up to 20 carbs or under. Again, I am hypoglycemic so this diet is right for me. Went to the eye doctor yesterday - no glaucoma or cateracs. I bought a good sport watch and strive to meet my goals Monday thru Friday. Sometimes I even reach some weekend goals.
