I didn't do too bad on my training this week. I worked out four days. The reason I didn't make it five is because I was suuuuuuuuper sore the day after my first strength training workout! I'm back to normal now, so I fee confident that I can at least get five days in this week. I'm going to try to walk on Mondays, then do running/strength training for the rest of the week. I'm hoping with a fast walk workout I can get my walking speed up for my walk breaks during runs.

This week was pretty decent overall. I went to Kohl's on Thursday and got two new shirts with my Planet Fitness discount. I needed to update my wardrobe a bit, although I plan on losing quite a bit of weight over the next year. It's okay though, I have to dress up the body I have now!

Some slightly crappy news is that I took my car in for an oil change, and it's that time where I need new breaks and front tires. Cars are so expensive! emoticon But I'm lucky to have a good service shop that I go to that doesn't try to cheat me or oversell.

Today is also my last concert with my wind ensemble until fall. We have another concert next week, but it's Memorial Day weekend. I spent much of my teenage and early 20s performing on holidays/holiday weekends, so I'm at the point where I'm retiring from that! Luckily, the director understands we're adults and have lives, so we don't get slack for missing events. I'm also taking the summer off as well. I love playing music, but I need a break from the commute. Plus, it's summer by the beach! Have to take advantage.
