ARGH! Sinus infections. They're the worst am I right?! I've had a terrible week.

Okay there are way worse things. I'm a bit dramatic when I'm sick. There's just never a good time to be down for the count. Last week I missed a 5K I love doing every year, mother's day brunch my kids planned for me in the city and a Harley dealer ride with DH.

I'm closing in on the last steps of an important project at work and beginning the next one. I've also been preparing for the Soldier Field Ten Miler this coming weekend. So this was a bad week to get sick.

I'm feeling better this weekend. I managed to drive to the store (weird feeling when you haven't driven in several days) to pick up some good stuff to build my immune system back up and I got out between rain showers for a couple walks.



Lots of resting. I've watched SO MUCH tv. The highlight was The Last Resort on Netflix; a documentary about the vibrant Jewish retiree communities in Miami Beach from the 50s through the 80s, documented by photographers Gary Monroe and Andy Sweet. I highly recommend it!

So the plan for this week.....

Make my smoothies every day - spinach, avocado, broccoli, vanilla greek yogurt, frozen berries, turmeric, coconut water (all I taste is smooth, fruity goodness).
Walk breaks at work
decent bedtimes
more green tea
water, water, water
a short run
yoga
