watched Fat Sick and Nearly Dead again!

Well I skipped my workout routine and instead mowed the lawn which I find a workout!!! I greatly increased my fresh fruit and vegetable intake the last couple of days which feels great. On Friday night and Saturday I noticed I had more energy than usual.

I have rewatched the move Fat Sick and Nearly Dead which had originally inspired me to buy a Breville Juicer some years ago. I have moved since and my juicer has been in a box sitting on a shelf in my kitchen gathering dust.

This morning I bought a ton of fruits and vegetables: apples, carrots, organic ginger, lemons, cucumber, celery, spinach, etc. and I have gotten my juicer out of the box and just need to give it a wash and then prep the fruits and veggies and get juicing! yay!

For the first time, last night, I watched the sequel movie, Fat Sick and Nearly Dead 2, which I also really enjoyed and found motivating. There were people in it whose health conditions were helped by juicing whether they only drank juice or drank it in addition to their other food and I know people with some of those same health conditions so I was super interested in hearing their stories.

I'm not sure I can do a juice fast given my long commute and working every day during the week, but I'm thinking to just pack some fresh juice in a glass jar and take it with me for my breakfasts at work, or perhaps will just have fresh juice for my dinners each night AND I will definitely be able to juice fast on weekends I'm thinking Saturday morning to Sunday night.

I need the extra nutrients and the energy especially. I'm going to do a major juice making session (right after I wash the juicer) and have recipes for a few kinds of juice which I will make to last me a couple of days.

It's a long weekend here in Ontario Canada and it's the first long weekend of the summer I'm super excited to be able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. I'm going out after I make the fresh juice. :) Life is good.
