Sunday Day 43 Resting

Sunday, May 19, 2019

Last week I simply reached the end of my ability to keep pushing through. Aside from the must-do essentials, I let up on almost everything. I stopped worrying about pushing for another lb down and just ate comfortably. We had fast food twice for dinners because time was more important though I made reasonable choices. I went to bed early without worrying about whether things were done or not. I just hadn’t got it within me to do any more. I did accomplish one major goal and left it at that. I managed 10,000+steps every workday but it wasn’t easy.

Today I went back to bed after a not very good night and woke up somewhat better.

Glad you had a seemingly relaxed weekend in that you took care of yourself.

HUGS and hope it's a good week ahead for you.

You are being one smart cookie. I always listen to my body if I get a chance. My DH has been in bed quite a bit caused from his heart and I am just glad he does lay down. I am picking up as much slack as I can for him as well, and I am glad to do it. I have learned how to mow, and also keep the pool clean so far this year.

emoticon emoticon You keep taking care of you, you are my hero for it!!! It is so hard to stay in bed when you would rather be doing something to keep up. My DH had a lot of guilt about this at first. He is accepting things the way they truly are right now and it is so much better for him. You can do this! Rest my dear friend, rest.

You do what you've got to do - rest when you need to so you don't get sick again.

Please do take care of yourself, and not over do. There is only so much we can do, so take care of yourself, and just do what you need to do.

Frigging autocorrect, I did not mean “perdition”.

Good for you for keeping on without perdition. Getting a “B” can be just fine often. ❤️
