And winter strikes another blow

We have frost warnings for tonight. Good thing my geranium plants are still sitting on the porch and not out in the flower bed where I want them.
Avoiding the flying geese has almost become a game. I slept in until 8 and then laid around on the couch waiting for it to be time to go to lunch with my cousins and then I took the chair and the blanket and got those delivered to grandma and grandpa. And of course got to see some pictures of Hazel. Then they went to the casino and I came home after a quick stop at the store for bread and milk and of course without my list I forgot garbage bags. Oh well I have to go see the therapist on Tues. so I can get them then. If I remember.
I pinned the table runner to its back and made the binding and then I put it in a box to wait for a time when the walking foot is on the machine. If I take the regular foot off now I might never finish those geese and I'm almost half way done. Downhill from here on forward.
1. a family member took one of the pieces my mother didn't want to leave the family. It's out of my control now.
2. My nice lunch made a nice dinner too. I had a prime rib sandwich and brought half home...had steak and beets for dinner.
3. Happy to be in my house out of the rain.
So I'm in tomorrow. Going to try for 20 geese and at least 3 snowflakes. I'm also going to watch some puppies I saw today on the MN Rehome website. They are 9 wks old and lab and chi...mix again. I am so drawn to that mix. I hope someone takes them quick. I know the people won't want to keep them 5 weeks until I get home. And I don't want to train a puppy but but but/
