Stop Craving Sweets! & Using New Kitchen Appliance

Today I am limiting my calories to average out the total calories for the weekend. After dinner I was craving something sweet. My mind was racing over the contents of the kitchen. I thought about has worked in the past to stop the cravings. I raced into the kitchen and got a pickled egg and 2 dill pickles. OK the cravings stopped.

Last night we were at a dinner party and I over did the calories. I accept it will happen, that I will enjoy too much food and then need to do a corrective action to stay on track. For breakfast and lunch today I had Slimfast ~ Mocha Cappuccino - 180 calories each with 20 grams protein, 5 grams fiber. Dinner tonight I had a bowl of homemade low carb chicken vegetable soup. The riced cauliflower seemed like risotto. The soup was very tasty, satisfying, and low calorie.

This week I used my new Veggie Bullet Spiralizer and sliced up several pounds of vegetables so I could easily do stir fries, salads and low carb vegetable soup. Hubby makes veggie smoothie in the morning. Having the vegetables already prepped makes it easy to have a quick meal and quick clean up. All food containers are in the fridge at eye level so it helps us focus on what we should be eating.
