Wise words spoken bring health -1

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV).
As I began to study the Hebrew words used in this verse it became abundantly clear that the words we use to describe the situations and circumstances of our lives is crucial to our health.
The word death is mawet, which means surely die, while the word for life is hoy, which refers to our state of living in contrast to death.
Power is yad, which means control, direction, custody, dominion. Tongue is lason and it refers to speech, talkers. In other words, the tongue has control and dominion over life and death. So when we choose to talk about our symptoms we give our symptoms dominion over our health.
As believers in God’s word, we have the authority in the name of Jesus to speak to the symptoms and command that they go in His name. Scripture says in James 4:7 to submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee
It is not our symptoms that take our health, it is the authority in the name of Jesus that we do not take. Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name I will do it” (John 14:12-14 NKJV).
It is time for the church to wake up and take our authority. Jesus overcame this world. We overcome it by His blood sacrifice and the word of our testimony. Look around there are serious health issues facing mankind. God's word has the answers.
