Things are going great today. I changed something. I didn't think it was major. However, it looks like it may be bigger than I first thought.
If you know me, you know that you have to get up early to beat me to the worm. Early bird barely describes me. Especially when I'm 'in the zone'. I'm at the gym by no later than 4:15am. 5AM used to seem 'too late'.
On the way back from the gym I stop by my office. I try to get the "Fitness" part of my day tracked. I usually do that until around 8AM. I time and track a few things, but not so much my 'departure' time.
So I've probably been wasting a lot of time.
This morning, rather than going to the office, I went home. And because I did, here's what I was able to do BEFORE I got to the office.
* Weed four of my vegetable beds.
* Water all 12 garden beds.
* Plant four straight neck squash plants
* Cut today's lettuce for our lunches
* Wash the dishes.
* Brush the dog's hair, which keeps it from falling off in the house now.
* Cut my grass at 5:15AM... which is a double win. How?
My next door neighbor had a family reunion two weeks ago. They played music in their back yard from 6PM Saturday, until they left for church on Sunday.
So...this gave me an opportunity to pay him back. We're friends, so there's no anger involved. In fact, I waved and smiled at him when he threw his curtains back to look at me this morning. He smiled back knowingly, shook his head and gave me a thumbs up.
Peace Love and Understanding.
I'll cya'll down the road.
