Day 59 and Day 60

Monday, May 20, 2019

So apparently yesterday went too quickly for me because I never even got on here! I started off yesterday by grocery shopping (I forgot a large portion of what I needed, even though I had a list). Then cleaned my bathroom. My friend called and asked me to go to lunch and hang out so I did. We went to Aladdin's for lunch and then to Target and Meijer's. They just put the Meijer's in here. We get a second one sometime in the next year about similar distance away. I was not very impressed. The produce looked good but their pricing is a little off. They had a 2lb container of strawberries for $2 but the 1lb container was $4. That's wasteful as I will never eat 2lbs of berries in one week unless that is all I eat. Other than the produce, it was just too much stuff in one location! I stopped shopping at Walmart years ago for that reason and a few other reasons. I may go back but it won't be for a very long while but maybe not too.

Today, the bubby us home from work. We slept in late but I didn't get very good sleep. Not enough deep or REM to feel great today which is a shame because it was beautiful out! We did go to the park and really push it. My miles used to be 50 minutes for 2.5 miles and today the husband pushed me to 45 minutes for 2.5 miles. I also finished up our laundry today. I am terrible about starting and finishing laundry on the same day. I make sure it is all washed and dried the same day but usually leave folding for the next day. Tonight for dinner is baked BBQ tofu, roasted potatoes, and sauteed broccolini. I love baked tofu and now that I have an actual tofu press it makes the tofu so much better. I can get every drop of water out and not use a single paper towel. Speaking of baked tofu, it's time to make dinner. Have a good night all! emoticon

I love Strawberries - why not freeze them for later?? I am with you on the laundry. I pile up the clothes on a chair and wait til a magic Jeanie comes to fold it... It never happens!! Hugs,

Congratulations on doing that 2.5 miles 5 minutes faster. You have a great coach!

I am working on getting a better quality of sleep too. It makes such a difference on what you can get done the next day.

Laundry tip - set the timer for every 2 hours and force yourself to do that next dreadful task. I hate laundry!
