A cold, blustery, wet day...

It's been a miserable day outside so I made cookies and chicken noodle soup with Amish egg noodles for supper tonight! Yummy!!
Did 4 miles again today with weights and it was much easier this time compared to before. Will be doing my exercise alone the next several days as my sister is headed back home for a well-deserved break! Hope she doesn't hit severe weather on her way there!
We've been getting rain off and on all day and the forecast shows sun only on Wed and Fri; otherwise, it's rain, rain, and more rain! Ugh! But, it could be worse! Some places west of here are expecting up to 6" of snow! My brother was getting snow in CO and I saw where they've closed I-70 at the Eisenhower Tunnel because of wrecks! Can't wait for nice weather on a steady basis! That will be nice!! But who knows when that will happen!! All in good time, I guess...all in good time!
It's obvious Dad is deteriorating. His memory is getting worse. He can't remember people. He called my niece "that lady" this weekend. He carried his walker halfway down the stairs to the bathroom before we realized what he was doing. On one hand, he seems confused. On the other, he is sneaky about stuff like with the walker. He was very quiet in doing what he did. It's just the grace of God that he hasn't taken a major spill. God knows he's done more than enough to have it happen! He fell out of his chair in the kitchen the other day either trying to pet the cat or pick up some bit of debris that was on the floor. He changed his story so it's hard to know for sure. Thankfully, he only ended up with a couple of skin tears and no broken bones!
Moved my plants under the bench I had them sitting on again today since we are due for possible severe weather tomorrow. I'm hoping not, but we are definitely in the yellow and red areas tomorrow morning/early afternoon. I may need to bring them in tonight if the temp drops much. We are currently only in the low 40s, but I don't think there's going to be much change over night. I can hope anyway!
Hope everyone is having a great day!
