Here we are again, cold, rain. I always check the weather before I go to bed and write/log my next days menu based on the weather. Ie., I don't do cold smoothies if it's cold outside but if it's warm and sunny, iced coffee, cold smoothies, here I come. Today breakfast is cream of wheat with blueberries. My cuppa is just being finished as I write. I made a list of groceries and NEED to go out and pick up a couple things. I really don't want to go outside!!! Can't stress that enough. I cruised the Spark Recipes yesterday and found a couple that I want to try. Then there is a grilling I need to get done before the meat gets icky. Guess I will be out and about after all. UGH
I kind of want to hit the gym but don't too. SO today I am going to do something new and different. Clean my home gym! Well not the cleaning part, I do that regularly. Usually I just vacuum, dust and straighten things but today, every time I touch some piece of equipment I will use it for a period of time. For instance I need to move my spin bike to a new area, so I will jump on her and do 10 minutes. I will clean under my treadmill, raising the bed to do so, so I will jump on her for 10 minutes. I will have to touch my TRX, therefore, there will be some squats involved. Good thing I have a small home gym! LOL
I really love that, Action is worry's worst enemy! Action is the enemy of a lot of things! You don't have to think long to recognize some action that thwarted some "enemy." I heard a report yesterday of the Morehouse college grads this year getting all their student loans paid in full by Robert F Smith. Smith a billionaire CEO took action, paid $40 million, 430 students loans in full. Several of those were students from here and I heard their amazing stories of struggle to take action and become the first in their family to get a college degree. One kid, rose from homelessness to crush the enemy of poverty. Another raised with a whole passel of siblings by a single mom, dad died when they were young. OK, I am getting off the soapbox now. Action is getting our nutrition figured out and exercising to suppress the enemy of unhealthy behaviors! Action is getting our blood pressure and healthy numbers down.
