What gets measured gets managed

In starting my quest to regain my health and improve my fitness levels, I need to know where I am. Otherwise I can't know what progress I've made later. SP has an article that has a fitness test to determine your current level of fitness. I'm adopting this. I will take this test and record my initial results here. Every quarter, I will retake the test and post updates. My hope is I improve my scores in each of the test categories as I continue to lose weight and exercise.

The categories are: 1) Full Push-Ups 2) Crunches 3) 12-inch Step Test and 4) 1-Mile Walk.

Adding to this, I will post my goals regarding weight and BMI.

Here is my initial weight and BMI recordings

Weight: 242 lbs
BMI: 33%

Goal Weight: 195-201
BMI: 26%


My goal is to measure these routinely so I can manage them through proper diet and exercise.
