Day Eight: Slowly Coming Back Around

So today I just DID a session of yoga and it made me remember how much I really love all this stuff. So I made out a new workout plan:
Thurs: martial arts
Fri: strength training
Sat: core workout/ab wheel
Sun: rest day
Exercise went well today, although it was pretty difficult. I hadn't done yoga in a long time and my body was not used to it at all!! I did just a five-minute session but it seemed long. This is how I always get started, though, and it is always tough at first but gets easier, of course. I'll probably do some chair yoga, too, as I go along. My ankle is still not totally healed, although it's better than it was, so will still be doing chair exercises. At least I can do squats now, although can't do anything where I jump on my ankle.
I'm tracking food again. Where I seem to be running into trouble is with beverages which always seems to be the case I always drink my calories. I'd live on LaCroix and cigarettes if I could. I should start getting things lined up better though. My schedule always changes is one of the problems, though. Some days I go to bed early and get up super early and some days I have to stay up late. So that effects how hungry I am and my fasting schedule. I have my food pretty much figured out, though. I know what I'm going to be eating and when it's gone it's gone so if I overeat then that's my own problem to deal with.
Mindfulness practice is shining a light in places that were dark before. Clearing blocks. My vision just opens up. And sometimes Jim will say something that I'll think about and then those 3000 realms will appear and it's a choice of any among them.
I'll write more later. For now I have to get back to writing. I sent my proposal in to The Paris Review yesterday. Hopefully they like it. I think the poetry is good. Right now working on my manuscript. Should be done soon and then will be querying agents.
