I've never experienced a life threatening disease--
My SIL is going thru Chemo now and is such a trouper--never complains and is hoping the meds will help her "hang in"-----

I also have a Lady friend with MS---an older woman---who has , over time, withdrawn to her apartment---doesn't go out much anymore--
She developed Anemia recently, which was life threatening--
Her Dr., wanting to find the source of her losing her red blood cells, ordered a Cat Scan---
She refused to go---
Me, being an R.N., find it difficult to honor this woman's wishes-- I want to make her better--at least help her to get some life back---

I love both of these women----
I respect , so much , the SIL who " is braver than she ever thought she could be"---
I have to respect the wishes of my friend with MS---but----(that big "butt" again---)-I really wish I could give her the courage to partake in her Dr's wishes---

Spark tells me too, --"The number of times you fall down is irrelevant. The number of times you have the courage to get back up is what matters."
Lord love a duck!-----I want both these people to get back up---
