Day 18 of training!!

Here we are the day before the last day of school. Not entirely sure I am ready for that, but I guess I better be!!! 🤪🤪🤪🤪

So yesterday's food was pretty good. I did kinda cheat a bit though. Hubs brought home a 2oz bag of trail mix and said he saved it for me. I just looked at him like um.... ok. Then he showed me where it was from, my old stopping grounds of Detroit!!! Decided I would just hold on to it, didn't need to eat it. Well after a phone interview, that ran into my lunch time, I wasn't thinking and grabbed the trail mix and ate it. Oooops, but it was very yummy. Then for dinner I was going to have a chicken salad, thought I had already had some cooked up. So dinner time I went looking for said chicken only to find out that I didn't have any cooked already and everything I do have was frozen. So I grabbed 5, yes 5 as that is the serving size on the bag, of chicken nuggets and put those in my salad. I also grabbed chicken from the freezer to thaw for today.

I got my 2 mile walk in this morning, felt good. I have now done 15 out of 82.1 miles for Bigfoot race. I have 67.1 miles to go, which I will finish over the next 19 walks. I also have 270 more miles to go to finish my half marathon walking goal.

Once I get closer to finishing that I will start planning the running portion. I may be able to sneak a C25k routine in there before I start running the same 20, will turn it into a 40, training schedule. I will have to see. I think it will also depend on when/which half marathon I end up running, to determine just how much time I have.

So far I have done well with eating, tomorrow's dinner will be a do your best type of thing. Since it is the last day of school, our tradition is to go out/bring home pizza. Well the only kid left in school wants to go out for pizza. Luckily it is a buffet style place. So a huge salad first and then a piece or two of thin crust pizza.
