What would you be doing if you knew that the following year is your last? How would you spend that time?

Editing to add: the question was inspired by the book 'The Vibe' by M. Verhees and it is meant to realize which things are worthy of our time and which are not. So it's not so much a question about dying or how to prepare for death.

    Answering the question:
Three of the things I'd do...
    * I'd stop spending so much time focusing on household and on weight loss!
    * Spend lots of time being with my husband, cuddling and talking.
    * I'd go visit several concerts and musea, and the sea.

Go see the parts of the world I've wanted to see (Lebanon, Cyprus, Israel, Haiti, Scotland, England) and spend lots of time with my loved ones.

Maybe use my dying status to put some extra pressure on some politicians about a few things.

Edit to say: great question. I love how thoughtful you are and the way you think.

I would get all my affairs in order to make sure everyone k love is taken care of. Spend time with my husband, sons, and grandkids and all my family and friends as much as possible. But most of all spend time with God, that all is well with my soul

Get all my affairs in order (which is being taken care of as I type this). Then DH and I would take a cruise. We met on a cruise and honeymooned on a cruise. Would love to go back to Amsterdam and London. We've both been there, but those are 2 places I'd love to see again. Would want to go to Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. The other trip on my bucket list is a train trip thru the Canadian Rockies.

We would sell our house and downsize. Would definitely want to spend at least part of the winter in AZ.

The most important thing of all is let my loved ones know how much they are loved.

I do think of that these days since my husband’s brush with cancer. I would get my papers in order and go back to Hawaii for a good long stretch. And then give away most of my prized possessions. I fon’t want to leave a mess behind.
