It has been one of those days and I'm just ready for it to be over.
We woke up to storms - I actually slept through the ones overnight. Our power apparently went off at some point, so I'm glad that I have a battery in my alarm clock. I was awakened around 4:15 when Mike's phone went off with an emergency alert for a flash flood warning. Funny that woke me up, but thunder and lightning didn't.
So, I did end up getting up before 5:00 because I really couldn't get back to sleep. I got ready to start my workout. Luckily the video worked for the most part - it was a little fuzzy and did freeze once near the end. I should clarify that it was somewhat storming at that point. Once done I got the boys up and was attempting to get Jacob out the door so that I could get my yoga done. Donna ended up calling that she couldn't come on our road because there was a lot of water over the road by the highway. So, I got my shower taken and had my breakfast. Luckily it had quit raining when I took him in, so the water was back down. I dropped him off and went to get groceries.
On the way to Greenfield, it was crazy. The Nodaway River that runs between the two towns was totally out of its banks. Lots of water. I got groceries and came home. I was glad that I got everything in before it sort of rained again. That round didn't amount to much thank goodness.
The rest of my day was kind of lazy. I did sweep the kitchen floor and did one load of laundry. Otherwise I was reading and/or watching Cheers.
After supper, Mike checked the rain gauge - we got 5 inches last night! No wonder everything was out of it's banks!
Now the boys are driving me crazy. It's not raining and they should be outside, but they are inside annoying me.
1. Nutrition: it was an okay day. I tried to limit the snacking.
2. Fitness: Day 5 - 21 Day Fix Extreme Real Time: Cardio Fix Extreme and 10-Minute HardCORE.
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional. Phone time was up today. I will have my prayer/journal time before bed.
Tomorrow - nothing on the agenda as far as I know.
