As the World Turns

I've gone silent for a bit. I run out of things to say. I get lazy about blogging. I feel that my topics are trivial compared with what's going on in the world. I go through periods of time away for awhile as I've been on SP for a decade now.
Some of my wonderful SP friends have checked in on me with loving kindness, wondering if I'm okay. They tell me that they miss my blogs.
So at least I'd like to say hello and update a bit. Doing fine, and so is my fur baby Harry. As many of you know, he is my elderly cat and three months ago I went through one of those brief downturns with him. I cherish each day and he is doing well.
You may remember a neighbor friend of mine who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I was helping him find a shelter dog. Well, three weeks ago he brought home a Siberian Husky named Kaya. She is an absolute sweetie and I am her official godmother. (smiling)
She's a big girl and needs lots of walks which are terrific for my friend. His is a non-chemo type of leukemia, so he is holding steady. I can tell that Kaya is bringing a lot of joy into his life.
Overall, eating and exercising going well. My body is pain free right now after a long healing spell from hip sprain that started to make my leg hurt also. There isn't a day that I don't have immense gratitude for no pain.
There are currently no major stressors in my life - a very rare occurrence indeed! (smiling) My thoughts and prayers are with those here who are struggling with health for themselves and/or family members.
I'll try to blog fairly often, but no guarantees. Big hugs to all. Have a happy, healthy day.
