Hello everyone! My name is Dani and I am starting SparkPeople for accountability, blogging, and tracking my fitness goals. I am currently in the obese category weighing in at 222 for my 5'8 frame. I recently became a stay at home mom and homemaker and absolutely love it! When I worked in an office full time it was hard to make healthy choices when it came to food. Now I can plan and prepare healthy meals. My goal weight is 160. Is that a good goal weight for someone who is 5'8?

Anyway, I am doing sort of a Keto friendly diet that consists of:

Breakfast: Meal Replacement shake (Yummy Mocha flavored mixed with cold brew coffee).
Snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Meal Replacement Shake, Veggies, 1 fat
Snack: Protein Bar
Dinner: Protein such as meat, veggies, 1 fat
Snack: Meal Replacement Shake

I started out this diet after giving birth to my second child. I started out at 281 pounds and now I am down to 222, so I would say it is working. I have been at sort of a standstill because of birthday get togethers and cheating a little bit food wise. But now I am back to it and I am motivated to shed these unwanted pounds and feel better about myself. I want to be a wonderful role model for my children and be a hottie Momma. Haha.

As for exercise, I just started the couch to 5k program. So far so good.
