So a couple of years ago I lost 40 pounds. Ran a half marathon. Felt great. Then, injuries...major ankle sprain, broke my foot. Started college at 43 years old. Life was all kinds of weird, and although I was still seeing my personal trainer twice a week, my weight crept back up. I originally started at 218. I am now back to 210. It’s a different 210, as I’m fitter than I was when I first started, so I’m not in the plus sized clothes I used to be. But I’m not happy with myself. So I decided last week to give Spark a try to see if I could track my fitness and food/water intake and find my motivation. I know it’s my food habits that are holding me back. I have this love/hate relationship with food that I really need to reconcile.
Here’s to eternal hope and to second chances. Small changes this week, and then more next week. This week? More water and fruit. Here we go!!
