Maintenance: Adding calories s-l-o-w-l-y to find the balance point.

I'm at 189 days into my 2019 weight loss journey on my Ice Cream Diet and still losing a little.
I've added only 100 calories a day from my original diet plan and I'm holding it there to allow my body to adjust to this increase. I went on a 10 day road trip and didn't measure all of my food. I've been bouncing up and down in a 4 pound band for a month now. If I'm still losing in a couple of weeks, I will add another 100 calories. In the past, I added more calories too quickly and put the weight back on. I'm being more intentional about maintenance this time. My 6 month goal is to get to New Year's Day 2020 and NOT have to set a resolution to lose any weight.
The ONE NON-negotiable item is - I will not give up my nightly reward of ice cream. This reward is what has kept my wife and me on track for all of 2019.
