Maintenance: Adding calories s-l-o-w-l-y to find the balance point.

I'm at 189 days into my 2019 weight loss journey on my Ice Cream Diet and still losing a little.
I've added only 100 calories a day from my original diet plan and I'm holding it there to allow my body to adjust to this increase. I went on a 10 day road trip and didn't measure all of my food. I've been bouncing up and down in a 4 pound band for a month now. If I'm still losing in a couple of weeks, I will add another 100 calories. In the past, I added more calories too quickly and put the weight back on. I'm being more intentional about maintenance this time. My 6 month goal is to get to New Year's Day 2020 and NOT have to set a resolution to lose any weight.
The ONE NON-negotiable item is - I will not give up my nightly reward of ice cream. This reward is what has kept my wife and me on track for all of 2019.

    I'll try Halo Top once. But I'm too chintzy to eat it every day. I get 1 1/2 quarts of Edy's Slow Churn for $2.88 on sale. One cup is 240 calories. Six cups in a 1 1/2 quart container means each serving is $0.48

    Try Halo Top ice cream! My favorite is the birthday cake flavor. An entire pint is 280 calories 😍 Best guilt free ice cream ever!
